I have been known as a reader since I was a little girl. My mother loved to read. My grandmother loved to read. One of my favorite places in my grandmother’s house was the little bookcase nook tucked in beside her TV – just big enough for me to cuddle up with a book. Libraries were familiar, happy places for me.
After I became a Christian, books became special to me in a new way. I discovered Christian literature – Christian Living, devotionals, theology, book studies, even Christian fiction. And so many books written for Christian women. The authors of those books became my mentors and their words helped me to grow in my faith and as a Christian wife and mother.
It’s only natural for me to share my love of reading and to let you in on my reading list. It’s ridiculously long so we’ll be at this for quite a while. Want to come along? Just check back here once in a while to find out what book I just checked off my list and maybe you’ll find one that will interest you too.
